Examining a Blended Learning Environment through an Ethnographic Approach
ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) integration in tertiary education is been studied for the last two decades. LMSs, such as Moodle, is now widespread in academic courses, and eventually a variety of interesting research questions have been arisen. Based on the ongoing improvement of the LMS integration in different educational contexts, the focus has been transitioned from the technical details to the more important educational needs. The goal of this study is to focus in a specific academic course, in which Moodle has been integrated, in a blended learning environment. In order to gain a more detailed understanding of this course, an ethnographic approach has been used.
